💮About The Temple:
🚩Sri Kambada Narasimha Swamy is an Ancient Hindu Temple located at Kammasandra, Bangalore.
🚩The Temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha Swamy who resides here in the form of a Kamba(Pillar).

💮Historical Significance:
🚩Once upon a time this place was densely forested region and a river by name Stambhu was flowing all over the region.
⁣🚩One day when Agastya Rushi comes this way, he see's Lord Narasimha Swamy appear in the form of a Pillar in the river.
🚩When Agastya Rushi takes a detailed look at the Pillar, he see's Sudarshana Narasimha Swamy with Shankha-Chakra and Nama(Tilaka).
🚩Later the Pillar was relocated to the middle of the forest and was worshipped by Agastya Rushi.
🚩It is said that the Chola Kings build a magnificent Temple in the place where the idol of the Swamy is located.

⁣🚩ಈ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯು ಕಂಬದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪುರಾಣದ ಐತಿಹ್ಯ ಕೂಡ ಇವೆ.⁣
⁣🚩ಬಹಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ದಟ್ಟ ಕಡಗಿದ್ದ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತಂಬು ನದಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
⁣⁣🚩ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯರು ಈ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಬರುವಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ, ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಬದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯು ನೆಲೆನಿಂತಿರೋದು ಗೋಚರಿಸುತಂತೆ.
⁣🚩ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯರು ನೋಡಿದ ಕಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದರ್ಶನ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಚಕ್ರಶಂಕ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಮಗಳು ಕಂದುಬಂದವಂತೆ.⁣
⁣🚩ನಂತರ ಈ ಕಂಬವನ್ನ ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯರು ಕಾಡಿನ ಮದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಟಾಪಿಸಿ ನಿತ್ಯ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದರಂತೆ.
⁣🚩ಮುಂದೆ ಚೋಳರು ಈ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಇರುವ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಭವ್ಯವಾದ ಆಲಯವನ್ನ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
